Windswept
A late afternoon hike into the Narrows, Zion National Park means an even later exit.. Being one of the last souls on the 4 mile trek back out of the canyon is quite an experience. Without the massive crowds around, you are able to appreciate the canyon in a different light. What started as a warm hike up the river, ended as the sun began to set and temperatures dropped significantly. I was shivering, but well worth it.
